Questions

The things everyone asks first.

If the answer you need is not here, call or text and ask. It is a small studio — you will reach the person holding the brush.

A full season, comfortably — most pieces hold eight to twelve weeks through Kansas City weather. The paint is formulated to grip glass and to let go when we want it to.

No. It is temporary, water-based window paint applied to the outside of the glass. Removal is scraping and washing — no solvents, no residue, no film left behind.

Yes. Interior murals, feature walls and painted signage are all part of the same practice — the surface changes, the approach does not. Wall work is quoted separately from window work because it takes longer and lasts far longer.

Three to four weeks for a normal season. Halloween and the winter holidays fill earliest and are worth locking in over the summer. Short-notice work is sometimes possible and carries a rush charge.

Most storefronts are well within range, including full-facade runs across several panes. Anything requiring work above standard ladder height gets discussed and quoted before booking.

A design fee covers original artwork drawn to your brief and a digital mockup placed over a photograph of your actual window. You approve the concept before any paint is opened.

We reschedule. Painting in rain or a hard freeze produces work neither of us wants on your storefront, so weather days move to the next available slot at no penalty to you.

Sometimes. Plenty of commercial leases — and a few Kansas City-area municipalities — have rules about how much of a storefront window may be covered. The booking agreement asks you to confirm you have permission. It is a two-minute check that saves everyone a headache.

Yes. Several windows on one building, or several businesses on one block booked for the same day, cut the travel and setup time considerably and that saving is passed on. Mention your neighbours when you enquire.

A deposit holds your date and the balance is due on completion. Card, bank transfer or invoice — whatever suits your bookkeeping.

Yes, and it usually works better when you do. Send whatever brand assets you have and the design will be built to sit alongside them rather than compete with them.

Often. If you manage several units, a single booking across the whole building is cheaper per window and far easier to schedule than each tenant arranging their own.
